By accessing any of the websites or mobile applications (collectively, hereinafter "website" or "websites") operated by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), including REALTOR.ca, you, the user, agree to be bound by all of the terms for use and agree these terms constitute a binding contract between the user and CREA.

These Terms of Use apply to all users, except to the extent that CREA has developed specific policies for member real estate Boards, Associations and REALTOR® members. Those organizations and persons should also refer to the applicable policies of CREA's Technology Committee.

    RE/MAX Key Properties is a franchised business part of the London Regional RE/MAX Network who are the master franchisor for the Region.
    We abide by the rules and regulations set out by the General Data Protection Regulation (effective 25 May 2018). The Privacy Policy below sets out what information about you is collected, the types of information collected, how this information is used, who will use this information, marketing, data storage of your information, cookies, other websites and your right to request what information is held about you. For the sake of clarity, the policy below could be referred as “Remax Key Properties”, “I”, “our”,”us” or“we” referring to myself.
    The following are undertaken in order to protect your privacy:
    -We do not collect more information than necessary.
    -We do not use your data for any other purpose than those specified below.
    -We do not keep your date longer than necessary.
    -We do not sell your data.

    Information Collection
    The information that is collected about you is done via the following:Please note that even if you are accessing any of our sites or using our services from outside of the UK, this Privacy Policy will still apply to you.
    i. The Information that is collecteddirectly from you including visiting our office (where a form is filled with your information), filling in a website form, calling us, texting in with your information, emailing your information, form filling, post or meeting with you at an event or at a property.At this stage, different information will be collected depending on whether you wish to buy, sell, rent or let your property. Generally, the type of information collected here will include:
    Name, Contact information (telephone number(s), email address, postal address), Date of birth, Employment details (including job titles), Marital Status, Gender, Nationality details (Right to Rent), Records to Identify you including Bank Statement, Passport, Driving Licence, Utility Bills, Rent Records Information), Land Registry Information for Vendors and Landlords, Mortgage Lenders, Information relating to requests made by lenders, mortgage brokers, solicitors, reference companies, your budget for renting a property, your budget for buying a property, approximate value of your property whether this is a property for sale or for rental, surveyors, management companies. In addition, we will record any preferences relevant to your search (e.g. property to possess garden, outdoor space, lift and other criteria), Financial and credit card information (for example for payment of letting fees).

    ii. Our Websites Sites and servers may collect other information from you when you access our Sites, including your IP address and the pages you visited and content you viewed while on our Sites. The Information collected cannot typically be used to identify you personally. However, if you have registered on the Sites, it may be possible for us to link certain information to information that identifies you personally. Information collected through our Sites includes information sent to us automatically by your web browser, the address of the web page you were visiting when you accessed our Sites, information about your operating system, the browser you are using, the date and time of your visit, and online traffic patterns and content accessed throughout our Sites.

    iii. Information that is collected though other sources such as RE/MAX Regional office, Other RE/MAX Offices, RE/MAX Associates, Business Partners, contractors, suppliers, referencing companies, advertising channels, analytics companies, search engine information and any advertising that is carried out.
    How will the information collected be used:
    We are a service Organisation and work upon the instructions of Vendors, Landlords, Rental Applicants& Sales Applicants. Whichever category you belong to will depend on what type of information is collected. Your personal information will be used to effectively undertake your instructions, providea service that you have requested and to carry out our obligations arising from a contract that we have with you. This would also be the case even where you are renting or buying from us. In addition, we are also compelled to ensure that all obligations pertaining to UK and EU law are met.
    Your information would be used for us to comply with our obligations to service you:This would include:
    -passing on your details to prospective landlords (if you rent), vendors (if you wish to buy), tenants (if you wish to let) and purchasing applicants (if you wish to sell).
    -passing on your information to management of blocks, utility companies, contractors (if we manage the property)surveyors, solicitors, mortgage lenders&mortgage brokers (for buying and selling processes).
    -Ensuring that you are pre-qualified and referencing.
    -To enable us to carry out checks on Anti Money Laundering,
    -To enable us to carry out checks on your Right to Reference.
    -To enable us to carry out checks on your right to sell or let your property.
    -To enable us to ensure works are carried out with contractors and suppliers.
    -To inform you about any changes in our service&changes to our privacy policy
    -To enable us to prepare Tenancy Agreements, Memorandum of Sales, Registering a Deposit, Enabling Utility Bills accounts to be changed.
    -For us to complete Accounting Tasks: including Fees, commissions, Invoices, Rent Collection, Chasing overdue Payments to suppliers and contactors as well as completing our own book keeping services for the production of accounts and chasing of overdue invoices and fees.
    -For us to complete Marketing Services: including taking into account your preferences in order to improve our systems, websites, products and services, to enable us to improve our product and service to you, to assist with our sales, marketing, advertising and promotion.
    -For us to complete Administration Tasks including keeping records up to date, helps us to improve our products and services, providing you with information requested or other support services.
    In terms of the information collected via our websites, this is used to ensure that all parts of our sites function and for administration functions (including trouble shooting, collecting analysis for research and statistical purposes) and to make improvements to our site by ensuring that content is presented in the most effective manner)

    In terms of information collected from other sources, this will be used to complete tasks, provide a service to you or complete our contractual obligations to you.

    Who will use the data:
    In order to carry out our obligations to you, all legal obligations and to improve our services to you, it will be necessary to share information about you to the following:
    -Our Head Office, Other RE/MAX offices, Other RE/MAX Associates within RE/MAX Key Properties and Partner Agents who will assist us in property searches and property/applicant matches.
    -Contractors and Suppliers in order to complete our obligations to you.
    -Technical Suppliers and contractors: This will include email delivery systems companies, Customer Relationship Management Software, Content Management Systems, Hosting services, Social Media Channels, Blogging Channels, Newsletter Deliverability, Search Engine Online Advertisers (including AdWords), Analytics companies, Website Design Companies.
    -Obligations: We may, without your consent, access and disclose your Personal Information, any communications sent or received by you, and any other information that we may have about you as may be permitted or as we believe in good faith may be reasonably necessary to comply with any law, regulation, rule or court order or other lawful requests from governmental, regulatory or administrative agencies or law enforcement authorities (including in response to law enforcement or national security requirements); to respond to any claims, investigate, identify persons or organisations potentially involved in, or take any action regarding suspected fraud, violations of our Terms of Service, or activity that appears to us to be illegal or we believe may expose us to legal liability.
    Additionally, we may disclose Personal Information in situations that we believe to be emergencies involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or property, if we believe that your information in any way relates to that.
    Whilst most of our business partners and companies that are used to assist and improve our services are located within the European Economic Area (“EEA”), a few are based outside of this area.There are some services where your data will be transferred to outside the “EEA”. By providing us your information, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing of information outside of the “EEA”. We will take all reasonably necessary steps to ensure that your date is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

    As part of our service to you, we will send to you marketing emails and newsletters which will highlight new service and product releases, changes in regulations in the UK market, best practice principles and other useful content. This information may be sent by other companies within our group.
    You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing services. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing services, please contact us at info.keyproperties@remax.co.uk
    Data Storage:
    Certain information regarding your ownership, Anti money laundering checks and Right to Rent Checks are stored within the office with access only provided to Administration Staff. The Systems adopted are password protected.
    The information that you give us is processed by staff within the UK and securely stored.Some other information is stored also in the UK and “EEA” but there are some suppliers that we use who may store your information outside the “EEA”. By providing us your information, you agree to this transfer,storing and processing undertaken outside the “EEA”. We will take all reasonably necessary steps to ensure that your date is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
    The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we take all measures to protect your data, there is no guarantee on the security of your data transmitted to our site. Any transmission is at your own risk. However, once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try and prevent unauthorised access.

    As stated above, your information will not be kept any longer than necessary unless a longer retention is required or permitted by law.
    Our Sites use cookies. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.
    Data about your activities online may be collected for use in providing advertising tailored to your individual interests, either by us, our marketing departments within RE/MAX or third parties. The information collected may also include information about your visits to our Sites, include the pages you have viewed and what content you have seen.

    Access to your Information and correction

W14 9NH. Although this is free of charge a small charge may be imposed to facilitate this service if the request is more than just a simple copy.
    We want to make sure that your personal information is up to date and accurate. You may ask us to correct or remove information that you think is inaccurate. In addition, you can request us to delete all information about you but we do reserve the right to retain information for compliance or regulatory purposes.

    Our websites contains links to other websites. This privacy policy only covers that of our own sites so if you link to an external sites from our sites, any information you provide is subject to the Terms and Privacy Policy of that website. It is recommended to review their privacy policy especially if you plan to share information.

    Sale or Changes of business
    In addition, in the event that we go through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, liquidation or sale of all or a portion of our assets, Personal Information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred, or may be disclosed (subject to confidentiality restrictions) during the due diligence process. If such a transfer occurs, the acquiring company's use of your Personal Information will still be subject to this Policy and the privacy choices you have made.
